How well do you know the Aosta Valley?
Having lived here for over 10 years, I would like to think fairly well.
Who’s your hero?
Indiana Jones.
What were your favourite subjects at school?
Mathematics was always my preferred subject at school. I enjoyed the logic to maths and the problem solving aspects.
What was the last picture you took on your phone?
The view from the Interski office balcony in Aosta with the fresh snowfall on the surrounding peaks.
How can we tell if you’re having a bad day?
I would be a little less smiley than usual.
What makes you happy?
My family.
What are you looking forward to the most in your new role?
Obviously the challenges associated with the Resorts Director role are numerous but in conjunction with a great UK office and resort team I hope that we can make 2016/17 the best yet.
What’s the worst type of person to be stuck with on a chairlift?
Someone with whom I cannot communicate.… and the best? Anyone else.
If you were in a film, what actor would play you?
Ideally Pierce Brosnan, realistically Rowan Atkinson.
Describe a perfect day…
During the winter months, seeing the Interski operation running smoothly with happy clients and the staff excelling in their respective roles combined with blue skies and fresh snow. The day also has to start with an espresso.
In your role as a ski instructor, what’s been your most embarrassing moment?
Demonstrating a snow plough and falling over in front of the group.
What would be your best skiing metaphor?
Less is more.
